On Riding A Moon Buggy

I want to bring this piece of good news. There’s much more to your waiting for the coolest ride ever on wheels! It’s riding a truck. Yes, a truck! I’m not, in any way, mistaken.

What I am talking about is that it seems interesting to ride in a truck -- not your ordinary truck that you commonly see on the road. Here, take a look at the picture:

You need to believe this. This is a moon buggy brought about by the wild imaginations and studies of space center engineers. Its name is Chariot. This rover is a special project that was inspired by NASA’s idea of bringing back the man to the moon as early as 2020.

Chariot was built in a year’s time by just a small number of people—only ten. Their chief engineer was Lucien Junkin and he was aided by other engineers. Each of these engineers had a special division of tasks to work on such as the transmission, suspension, batteries, power distribution, software, and the like.  It looks like an odd monster. If not for its wheels, you could not guess that it is some sort of vehicle.

This buggy has a special feature. Its inventors say that this is powerful enough to clean a piece of land and prepare it for future construction without the aid of any human. It is powered by sensors, computers, and cameras that make it perform automatically.

Even though it is such a great invention, there could be one great obstacle that could hinder us to ride on this truck. Scientists say that this is so big that it cannot be transported to the moon or to any other planet in outer space. They supported this statement with the fact that all rovers used in the space can be folded up to make its size smaller. In the case of Chariot, it is almost impossible for it to be utilized in the space, especially on the moon.

However, this discovery should not be taken for granted. This technology offers a farther knowledge for the human mind. Who knows? Chariot could have a replica created by space scientists that will soon give us the coolest ride on wheels. Let’s all watch out for it.
