Men’s Preference Over Vehicles

Could you easily guess who is behind a vehicle’s windshield by just its exterior appeal? Perhaps you could, especially when you know the preference of the two opposing genders. I will be dealing more today about the preference of the males for I had already discussed in one of my previous posts the choice of women. There you could find what women want for a vehicle. So, now, I think it is just a fair act to talk about men’s preference too. With this, permit me to start.

When we talk about men, they tend to like to own more a vehicle that others can’t have. This is the reason why you could find men driving rare cars. They would more enjoy being seen in a vehicle that is so unique. Also, they would prefer to own those attention-grabbing sports cars, sedans, and sport utility vehicles.

Take for example the Dodge Viper. It has 88.97 percent male drivers because it is a rare find. Imagine, only 435 of them are sold in the entire United States. More than this, the powerful and predatory look of this vehicle makes it loved by men. The Viper has in it a flashy look and a brawly engine sound that has the capability to show off the power of a man. That is commonly what men want to show off. With this, most vehicles manufactured have masculine styling cues like big wheels.

With this kind of preference of men, the vehicle is the equivalent match of jewelry for women. If the women would want to show off their social status, they would get the most expensive necklace or whatsoever. Because men don’t care so much about jewelry, the vehicle becomes their means of showing off what they have. With that, men tend to purchase accessories that will upgrade either the appearance or performance of their vehicle.

Included in the most common vehicles that are driven by men aside from the above-mentioned Dodge Viper are the Bugatti Veyron, Maybach 57, Maybach 58, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

The Essence Of Having A Car

Lao Tzu had this message that every place is a walking distance if you have time. Yes, I believe so. Perhaps, I can walk from the southernmost point of America to the northernmost point if I have my free time. However, things are happening so swiftly nowadays. You need to go to a place to close a deal in just an hour! How could you possibly make it if you’re just walking?

Yes, some things could not wait for you until you arrive. Consequences could arise if you don’t come on time. Take for example a restaurant that had been closed just because the order wasn’t delivered on time. Therefore, in this fast-pacing world, you should ride on it and having a car could save you.

It’s not a matter whether the car is yours or you’re just riding in someone else’s. The point here is that without cars, things would probably happen as slow as you could imagine. For me, I can never stand a day without a car by my side. Don’t remind me of the traffic, I know it exists.  I also know that, sometimes, you can go to a place faster if you walk than wait for the traffic to move (but that is only if you need to go a place near you).

Also, I know that cars are the number one contributor to the world’s greatest problem nowadays, which is climate change. It could be our fault because when we invented it, we didn’t realize it could cause us so much harm. However, I believe that the fact that we are now discovering a more environment-friendly fuel and that is a great payment to Mother Earth. Now that this kind of fuel is available in the market, the only sinner would be those who keep on using the same old fuel.

The bottom line here is: it is great to have cars in our roads, let’s just don’t overuse this privilege.

Darkness and Driving

Driving is easy. That is only when you are familiar enough with the road you are traveling into. If you are, then it could be as easy as you could imagine and tireless as you had expected. Drivers who don’t know the roads mostly end up worried, stressed, and tired because they don’t have any idea where to turn or where they could end up at the end of the day. How about during the night? The road appears scarier and more bewildering when darkness just covers everything on the road. Even the idea of having a headlight could not guarantee that you could end up to the place you are really headed to. That is only if you don’t know the roads.

To make your experience on the road not a mess during the night, try to practice driving at night. On your first try, just drive through familiar neighborhoods where you are so much familiar that walking with your eyes closed could make you end up to the place you are headed to. For this to be effective, try this for consecutive nights until you conquer your fear of driving on dark roads.

Practicing driving during sunset could also help. This is the time when there is still some light left for you. You could venture into going home at sunset when you could reach home just when it becomes dark. The effect of the slow occurrence of the dark in the street could help you adjust in the situation. At times, you could not even notice that it is already dark.

Make your practice frequent so that you could be comfortable with driving during the night. Having a passenger could help you so that you have someone to trust in times that you don’t know where to go. Also, the roads are full of street signs; you can just follow them just like when it is day. So don’t fear driving when it’s dark. What if an emergency occurs during the night? How could you drive for help if you don’t even have the courage to try driving at night?
