If you don’t want to die as early as now and you want to taste a greater tomorrow ahead, then better take this piece of advice: Don’t drive on deadly roads!
Of course, driving will always be an exciting experience. You can travel to any place at any time of the day. The decision always falls on you - whether you want to fill your gas tank and screech your wheels forever, it will always depend on you. However, driving, though fun and exciting it may seem to you, could be a very dangerous activity. More often than not, the drivers are to be blamed for danger or accidents that may arise when they are driving. Other reasons that can be liable for the accidents are bad weather conditions and faults of other persons or animals on the road. But the most dreadful thing is driving on a dangerous road. You should always look out for these kinds of roads!
Here in America, certain intersections are labeled by the authorities as the “most dangerous intersections in country.” One of these roads mentioned is the intersection of the Flamingo Road and Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Reports here claimed that accidents happen here almost every other day totaling to 357 incidents in the past two years. According to State Farm Insurance, the largest automobile insurer in the United States since 1942, this intersection is basically the gold medalist for the most dangerous intersections in America.
The Pines Boulevard in Florida
Ranking second and third to that road in Florida are the intersections of Red Lion Road and Roosevelt Boulevard with 331 accidents and the Grant Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard with 261 accidents. Both are in Philadelphia. Ratings for the ranking of these intersections depend upon the seriousness of the accidents that occur there. Meaning, though more accidents occur in other intersections, the seriousness of the accidents occurring there are prioritized in the ranking. So even though the roads mentioned above have a greater number of accidents, the three still were ahead of them because the accidents that occurred there are far more serious than the rest of the group.
Other intersections that you should watch out for here in America are the Clearview Parkway and Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Metairie, Louisiana (328 accidents); 51st Street and Memorial Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma (304 accidents); State Highway 121 and Preston Road in Frisco, Texas (280 accidents); 7th Street and Bell Road in Phoenix, Arizona (268 accidents); 19th Avenue and Northern Avenue also in Phoenix, Arizona (255 accidents); Fair Oaks Boulevard and Howe Avenue in Sacramento, California (246 accidents); and 71st Street and Memorial Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma (245 accidents).
Thinking that these roads are merely small, lives being endangered here are numerous. Therefore, the government of each of the state where the intersections are located should make a way to prevent more accidents from occurring. There is no greater thing than prevention. If the government gives attention to these roads, chances are, more lives will be put into safety. Another thing is that travelers should also familiarize themselves with the roads they are driving through so additional care could be taken when traveling through dangerous roads. With these things, there would be no more injuries, no more deaths. If not, lesser injuries, lesser deaths.
If you want more years, drive away from these roads. If you have no other choice but to drive through these roads, then take extra care. Believe it or not, these intersections really exist, and if you won’t take extra care, you might end up experiencing the worst thing that could happen on a road.
